PILGRIMAGE ITINERARY:

SEPT.28/MON. - NEWARK - BARCELONA:
Board your overnight transatlantic flight to Barcelona. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.

SEPT.29/TUE. - BARCELONA - MONTSERRAT:
Arrival in Barcelona and transfer to the beautiful Monastery of "Our Lady of Montserrat". Since the 12th
century, pilgrims have flocked to the mountain to venerate the miraculous statue of the Black Madonna (La
Moreneta). First Mass as a group.
Dinner and overnight in Montserrat.

SEPT.30/WED. - MONTSERRAT - LOURDES:
This morning after breakfast we will cross the Pyrenees mountains to Lourdes. Here, standing between the
spectacular mountain-river, Gave de Pau, stands picturesque Lourdes, the birthplace of "St Bernadette" to whom
Our Lady appeared in 1858 near the "Grotto of Massabielle". Settle into your hotel, relax or explore before dinner.
Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. (Optional) Candlelight Rosary procession.

OCT. 1-2/THU. - FRI. - LOURDES:
During our stay in Lourdes we will walk in the footsteps of St Bernadette. See the Boly Mill, where St Bernadette
was born and the "Cachot", an abandoned prison where Bernadette's poor family lived. Join your prayers with
those of pilgrims from around the world as we pray for the sick, drink water from the miraculous spring and
submerge yourself in the healing baths. Experience Christ's love as we walk the life sized "Stations of the Cross"
overlooking the holy Grotto. Kneel in the chapel built on the very rock of the Grotto, in obedience to the request
of the "Immaculate Conception." Our tour of Lourdes includes visits to the sanctuary, the "Basilica of St Pius X",
the world's largest underground church. (Optional) Candlelight Rosary procession.
Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

OCT. 3/SAT.- LOURDES - ZARAGOZA:
Today our experience of Lourdes comes to an end. After breakfast we proceed and cross the border into (Spain)
to the city of Zaragoza. Visit the Basilica of “Our Lady of the Pillar”, the place of the first bi-location of Our Lady to
"St. James", the apostle. We will have the opportunity to practice the custom of kissing the venerable column (or
Pillar) where Our Lady once stood. Dinner and overnight in Zaragoza.

OCT.4/SUN. - ZARAGOZA - AVILA:
Morning departure for the city of Avila. In this town of Avila the atmosphere has changed very little since the days
of "Saint Teresa of Jesus", to whom the city is dedicated. You will have time to visit the Cathedral, which contains
many of Saint Teresa relics; The crypt of the Convento of La Santa, built on the site of the house where she was
born, is home to the most comprehensive museum dedicated to her life, and "La Encarnacion Convent", the first
convent she founded. Dinner and overnight in Avila.

OCT.5/MON. - AVILA - FATIMA:
After breakfast we will depart for "Alba de Tormes" (Spain) where Saint Teresa of Avila died in 1582 and where
she is buried. In the little museum of the Alba de Tormes Carmelite Convent we will be able to see the incorrupt
heart and left arm of the Saint. We then continue on to Fatima, the place where the Blessed Mother appeared in
1917 to three simple shepherd children. (Optional) Candlelight Rosary procession.

OCT.6/TUE. - FATIMA:
After breakfast, we will follow the "Hungarian Stations of the Cross", along the Via Sacra culminating in the
Chapel of Calvary, which overlooks all of Fatima. We will visit Valinhos, the site of Our Lady's appearance after
the children's return from prison and the Hamlet of "Aljustrel", where the children lived. For lunch we will stop at
the “Centro Commercial Fatima” and shop at the “religious super market” the biggest in Fatima. Visit the "Basilica
of Fatima" and pray at the site of Lucia, Francesco and Jacinta's graves.

OCT.7/WED. - FATIMA - LISBON - NAZARE:
Morning departure for the city of Lisbon, and our main focus is on St. Anthony. Despite what might be assumed
from his name, "Saint Anthony of Padua" was born and grew up in Lisbon. The location of his birthplace, is in the
crypt of the Church of St Anthony. After our visit to St. Anthony, our destination is "Nazare", a colorful fishing
village on a lovely bay, with a very long beach. The lower part of the town still consists of small lanes with
fisherman huts. The district Síto lies above approx. 100 m high cliffs. From there is a fantastic view along the
coast. You will have free time for lunch and explore the village on your own. Late afternoon return to Fatima.

OCT.8/THU. - FATIMA - SANTAREM:
Today after breakfast we will travel to "Santarem", one of the oldest cities in the world and venerate the miracle
of the (Bleeding Host). At the request of a sorceress, a woman stole a consecrated host from the church. On the
way home the host begins to emit a brilliant beam of light and began to profusely bleed. Reverently returned to
the church of St. Stephen, this miracle has been on continuous display since 1269. Return to Fatima and free
time for private prayer or last minute shopping.

OCT. 9/FRI. - FATIMA - NEWARK:
"Be sure not to pack your passport". Your memorable journey has come to an end. This morning you will be
transferred to the airport for your return flight home. You will be asking yourself, "Where did the time go?"
